Beach of Puerto Rico

The ´old´ beach is very popular, and restaurants and mini markets are close by and you are allowed to enter in your swimwear without being frowned upon. The new beach – Amadores – is located closer to Puerto de Mogan and you can reach it by car or on foot along `The Great Wall of China´, which is a path that runs from the old harbour. The path has been constructed below the road, so you will not come in contact with traffic; however, the walk is longer than first anticipated.

This beach is not that old and, as it is man-made, variations in depth may occur, so watch out for sudden changes in water depth! There are plenty of opportunities to spend money here, but watch out for pickpockets that tend to help themselves to your money.
