There is no reason to float on the surface when you can experience the fantastic life under water. Most people are only familiar with life under the surface from their TV at home; however, at this latitude, the water temperature is rarely below 20 C and you should not deny yourself the chance to experience this exciting and fantastic world.

Gran Canaria is blessed with several diving resorts that offer pre-arranged diving adventures for advanced divers and divers, who have less experience, as well as a test dive for beginners. In addition, you are able to obtain the internationally certified PADI-certificate that can be used all over the world – this is not a tourist certificate!

The cost of this great experience does not vary from resort to resort, and they more or less take you to the same places - the specific details are found in their brochures. At most resort, the staff speaks Scandinavian, English and German.

The diving resort in Arguineguin is easily found if you enter the town through the roundabout with the large whale tail. If you follow the road, the resort is located at the first turn off – it has a marvellous view of the harbour.
